I guess first things first: if you're looking for a fast meal this probably isn't the place. At lunchtime we were served at a modest pace, something we were greatful for given the weather outside. We shared a mixed meat and cheese platter starter, which...More

This restaurant is very overpriced even for a tourist stop. A coffee was $5 euros, but the staff is very friendly.

Service good and good delicious!Very traditional feel to the place, which was a nice break from the tourist traps trying to lure you in off the street around the corner! Think shabby chic, plastic menus, very little English spoken by the staff we encountered, but...More

Food was good bad it took an hour for them to serve our spaghetti and pizza. It wasn’t that crowded at that time as well.

We were looking for a restaurant following the Italy-England Rugby as were about 25,000 other England supporters. By time we got back to the centre everywhere was full but we found this one and it had space. They didn't seem to be bothered whether we...More

Good location, great food, dull service. Recommend the restaurant for a great culinary experience. Don't expect good service. The waiter took his time and seemed to ignore us. Very busy and lively.

I have to say my first dinning experience in Italy was in Rome, and it was a poor one! It's very hard to find a good non-turistic restaurant with reasonable prices in Rome, that is not located in Trastevere. However we were recomended by our...More

This restaurant was directly below our apartment, so after a long day sight-seeing we thought we would save our feet from more walking and eat locally. Luckily we still have another day to obliterate the memory - if we can find a better restaurant. Only...More

Very bad experience. Waiters act like they are making you a favor, being quite rude. 1 dish at a time for a table for 6 people. Food is nothing special, small portions.

No atmosphere, rude staff and poor quality ingredients. Tomato and basil salad was a hard tasteless tomato, one basil leaf on top and no dressing. This was Italian summer when tomatoes are ripe and delicious. Our pasta was cold and greasy.

Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields
to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most

best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a
fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to
