Well hidden in a small side-street in Rome, you have to know where to find it. Also you need to book in advance - otherwise you will not get a table. But it is absolutely worth the effort: Professional and smooth service, excellent food, and...More

We were soaked from a major thunderstorm and tucked into this warm and cozy restaurant for lunch. They seem to cater primarily to tourists, so be prepared to be addressed in English or whatever your language is. The house wine is great and reasonably priced....More

We were very excited to be returning to Rome again this year (having been the previous year) and specifically for cacio e pepe at this restaurant, as last year it was absolutely gorgeous. Peppery, buttery, with a wonderful pecorino subtlety but were sadly very, very...More

Food was excellent and the ambience was delightful. We had the wine of the region, which was excellent and we were able to get a half bottle which we really liked since we knew we wouldn't finish a full bottle. Our waitress was extremely helpful....More

Down a small side street off Via delle Colonnelle, with only a green neon 'Trattoria' sign to point it out is this delightful little restaurant. It is proper Italian food cooked properly. The kitchen is very small but that does not stop if from turning...More

I had a hard time accessing their online reservation, but calling them was very simple. They speak English and will have no problem understanding you.

Hi, Beth! 6:00 PM is awfully early for dinner, in Rome. As a matter of fact, Osteria del Sostegno's evening hours go from 7:30 PM—11:30 PM, Monday through Saturday, closed on Sundays. Good luck!
