My girlfriend and myself are very keen on visiting restaurants and this restaurant has been the best experience either of us has had in a restaurant. We both ordered the 5 course Romana menu and were so delighted we did. The pasta dishes were some of the best pasta we have ever had and the meat dishes were sublime. The... More

In the heart of historic Rome. Walking distance from many hotels. Food was probably the best we had in Rome. Excellent, welcoming waitstaff staff. If you’re lucky you might get a tour of the cellars where various ancient artifacts reside which were found during renovations. Great live music the night we were there. Meatballs and stuffed zucchini. Grilled calamari. Outdoor... More

Fresh and tasty food, friendly staff making you feel at home. We even saw an old customer return with gifts for the owners from their country... speaks volumes about their hospitality! We went in without any expectations but came out pleasantly surprised. The crowning glory was a visit to the basement level of the establishment. It is a well preserved... More

Tucked away in a little side street, you'll find this amazing and charming restaurant! The food was fantastic and the owners were gracious and hospitable. They treated us like family and even took our big party on a tour of the historic underground area of the restaurant. It was a memorable night and we hope to see Elisabetta and her... More

We came across this restaurant by chance, even though we were staying just a block away; in a small medieval alley found a lovely restaurant and we were overwhelmed. The staff and owner are incredibly pleasant, professional and helpful. The dishes are truly amazing, including the best grilled fish we have ever had, as well as savory meat dishes (we... More

The greatest restaurant we visited in Rome! Lovely cuisine, especially seabas with artichoke-I strongly recommend! But the best part was the owners of this restaurant who treated us like part of their family, so kind and helpful that make me cry! Thanks you so much!

Have eaten here many times now and have finally found the correct name! We ate here last evening and had a thoroughly enjoyable meal finished off with a lovely version of TM I have not had previously. On previous visits we have had tours through the amazing cellars with their clearly complex history. On our last visit we were given... More

Came here multiple times, it was near my apartment. The main server is the nicest man! Gave me a tour of the restaurant and the wine cellar. Also gave me a wonderful book! Planning to visit a few more times before I return to the states.

We had another fantastic meal today. Lovely traditional roman cooking, great wine and very friendly staff and family. We were lucky enough to visit the amazing cellars and the many treasures below. Slightly off the tourist track but all the better for it. We will be back :)

Great family owned fish restaurant. They made a great effort to make us feel like a part of the family. Good food, big portions, and great tour of the cellars from the roman ages. We tried the grilled sea bass, the fried calamari and fresh gnocchi. All very nice and the house white wine from Rome pretty ok. Good selection... More
