I read the (negative) reviews but this place is located about 50 feet from our apartment and ... well ... we (my wife and I) were feeling lazy, so we stopped here for lunch. There's no doubt that the wait-staff here is aggressive and was trying to upsell us on everything. We ordered a 30 Euro bottle of red wine... More

Really enjoyed our snack stop here during a day trip from cruise ship. The lasagne was the best we've ever had! Excellent service and delicious local wine, sensible prices too. Lovely relaxing lunch!

My story is as a many of the other visitors here! Two drinks turned into antipasti x2 and bread, the quality was terrible too! € 54 later..... if only we had stood up to the waiter and returned the food that we didn't actually want or agreed! There are so many nice places in Rome so DO NOT visit here

They offered us free champagne....but charged us for bread which we get free everywhere else. They tried to sell us an anti pasta plate...ordered one...he tried to bring us three......totally rip off spot. Avoid at all cost. NEVER COME TO THIS PLACE...SO MANY BETTER PLACES IN ROME!

The owner / manager - not sure which - is a very very poor reflection on Rome. He's ripping customers off and doesn't show the least bit of guilt for it. He's very charming on the street but once you sit in his restaurant you're just a victim for him to scam by overselling , making you buy dishes you... More

As above...just a horrible con job. Asked if we wanted a meat plate as an antipasti asked for one and got three. Sent two back. Asked for a wine recommendation and got shown an 80€ bottle that I later saw in another restaurant for 20€. Owing to share a pizza and was told they're quite small so should order two.... More

We were conned, am feeling stupid that I didn't read the reviews. We had one drink each and we're almost forced into a plate of meat and cheese - three came instead - we sent two back as we only wanted a drink in the first place - we were charged Nearly €60 for three basic drinks and few slices... Don't visit this restaurant unless you want to be conned out of a fortune. We're New Yorkers, so we usually know the hustle of these places, but this was appalling. We stopped for some beer and wine (one drink each). The pushy waiter suggested a meat and cheese plate for the table. Begrudgingly we obliged. To our surprise, FOUR plates... More

Be careful to make a order for your meal in this restaurant. Doesn't accept the waiter's recommendation before you see the price of each food. It is designed for fraud trick. Your snack - a few pieces of cheese, sausages and prosciutto with bread will be the most expensive dish...You expect a real surprise when you will see the bill... More

We were actually on our way to another restaurant when we were approached and offered a free glass of champagne. We ordered a starter to share but received one each. The food wasn't bad but we had certainly had better. The bill arrived and shockingly we had been charged for two starters when we only asked for one and the... More
