Stopped for a quick pizza and fried calamari. Calamari excellent, pizza average. Couple of coffees plus bottle of water €38 Overpriced but paying tourist prices I guess. Was nice to sit and people watch

We visited that restaurant on the first night we were at Rome. We have chosen it by chance. It was really an adventure, a bad one. The service was the redudest we have ever experienced. The waiter was not friendly and ignored us all the time. He didn't speak any english to us so i tried to speak to him... More

First visit, impressed with the service, quality of food and value for money. Unlike some of the restaurants in Rome there were no hidden service charges. Homemade pasta dishes a must. Would certainly recommend

The food was nothing special, my salmon was full of arista. The restrooms are smelly and dirty, rusty taps, no soap, no hand dryer or paper for your hands. The older waiter didnt speak english, so it was difficult to order.

Was very surprised to find most restaurants around the Spanish steps area closing at 1030pm on a Friday evening! Had just arrived in Rome, and needed to eat. This place gladly welcomed us in! Service was very good, with staff recommendations proving to be spot on! Ravioli and pappardelle were thoroughly enjoyed, and portions were sufficient. As was the cotolletta... More

This is a mixed place with locals and tourists. Fair (not exceptional) food and prices and friendly service.

We ate here three times, twice for dinner and one lunch. Food was very good. I had Fettucine Alfredo which was great and spaghetti and meat balls, best meats balls for the whole trip. They serve bread as most restaurants do in Rome and charge you 1.50 Euro per person. Place gets crowded and does accept bookings. It is a... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighbourhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (21:00), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
