We dined here with another couple and were the first to arrive in the evening. We were made to feel welcome, and we sat outside to enjoy the evening along a narrow street that has less traffic noise than restaurants located just around the corner. One of the people in our party ordered the special for the evening and was... More

I wanted to definitely have a pizza whilst we were in Rome so we visited this place. We sat outside as it was a warm evening. We had meat, bread and cheese starter to share, which I thought was delicious. Very fresh and some really tasty cheeses. The pizzas we had for our main course were really delicious and well... More

Great local restaurant near where we were staying. Opened at 7PM and we were the first ones in. Good food all homemade, great pricing and ambiance. The place filled up by 8PM when we left. Would go back again and try other items on the menu.

Me and my girlfriend went to this place because of the amazing reviews it has on tripadviser and it didn't let us down! The pizzas were AMAZING. Even my girlfriend that usually prefers pasta ordered a pizza and really enjoyed it. The prices are fair (pizzas from 8 to 10 euros). I also ordered a beer and it was also... More

This is a great little place. Good food, reasonable prices. We had two pizzas, a salad, a small bottle of wine and two beers and paid just over 30 EUR. The food was great, nice super thin pizzas. The restaurant had a nice buzz with a lot of locals but also some tourists. The waiters are very friendly.

This is a nice place for pizza. I don't think I've ever had anything else here. Prices are reasonable and service was good. This time I was there with a group of about 20 people and they were great, timely with the food.

The best of all was the pizzabread! The Antipasti were out of the tin. The Pizza was solala and the noodles with mushrooms were terrible. The service was friendly. Therefore one point for the service!

We've been traveling for about ten months and eat out every meal. This restaurant is definitely in the top ten percent of places we've eaten. The staff was prompt, very nice and honest. No hidden charges. It is in a neighborhood and is way off the tourist track. It seemed that we were the only non locals there, but we... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
