I can't speak for the dinner, but the aperitivo is truly one of the best in Rome. It is a full meal which is great value.

We had seen pictures of this place, showing a beer place in a cosy crypt. At the time we visited there was no service downstairs, and the staff did not voluntarily give any information as to how and where they would be able to help us. The tables waited upon were situated in the shop or outdoors, and it was... More

I choosed this place for an Italian aperitivo.. with about 10 € per person you can drink a good quality glass of wine or a pint of craft quality beer. The buffet is particular here, I've been to lots of places in Rome but here I think that I found the most healthy buffet, a lot of vegetables and fresh... More

A small bar directly at the street. It has the biggest card of world beers i have ever seen. Seems like hundret of sorts. It has also a huge inventory of wine. Very good! Try it !

A great place to have aperitivo and enjoy your drink. The aperitivo is varied with options ranging from salads to pasta an pastry dishes. Moreover there is a good selection of beers and wines. Located in the Testaccio district is is easy to reach by metro or bus and less packed with tourists compared to other places in central Rome.

This is the perfect place for wine and beer lovers where you can combine light food with a large selection of red and white wine and beer.

You can be fooled into thinking that the covered outside bench seating area is available for patrons of the neighbouring bar, but no! So on our next visit we ordered drinks from Oasi della Birra. The beer menu is extensive and appealing, but none of the six beers I selected were available. Service was surly, the beer snacks were minimal... More

Testaccio is one of those residential areas in Rome where tourists tend not to visit. With restaurants such as this, you are missing quite a bit. With a beer selection, both bottled and draft, that exceeds 150, this has a fine selection. There is also a fine selection of other alcoholic beverages. But the reason to visit is the buffet... Staying in Testaccio

Neighbourhood Profile
Testaccio
Put the house music on replay and you have Testaccio, an ancient Roman port and former working class neighbourhood where the bass is set to high almost every night of the week. Its collection of discoteche (nightclubs), street parties, and crowded restaurants give it its well-deserved party reputation. During the daytime, Testaccio is more easy listening than club hit, the area is full of locally owned small businesses and has one of the city's larger produce markets.
