On our last visit to Rome we ate here a couple of times as it as so good. We returned again - and again - on this visit. Food it utterly delicious and beautifully presented. Service is very warm and relaxed and of course it has the benefit of live music after 9pm. Everything we had was fantastic and the... More

Wife had a spectacularly good polenta appetizer, the rest of the food was only OK. Most disappointing was brusque service (really only time in Rome the service wasn't exceptionally warm) and America style wine pricing. One of the things I love about Europe is that the wines aren't marked up 200-300% from retail as they are in the US. Well... More

Came here is a back up to another restaurant that was full. The place was kinda empty but that changed as the time past, as it got packed quickly. The service was good and they accommodated my request to add spicy Salami to my pizza without a fuss. The pizza was a bit cheesier than what I was used to... More

We came to Enoteca Barberini for a quick lunch but once we tasted the pasta we decided for an early dinner instead - with prime, second and dessert. It was just too good to miss out on! The pasta is delicious, and so was the pork filet and the tuna and the dessert was to die for... Service was great... More

This the best place ever in Rome Amazing young duo guitarist, playing here almost like since 2 years 4 times a week Unfortunately the crowd wasn't mainly all ears. Encourage you to be there and support these young music jazz students, (with your tips) coming from south Italy , still students at Rome jazz academy. Food ,wine and service was... More

Visited Enoteca on 11/15/2016 for a light dinner. Should have known it would be a bust since it is on a "main tourist strip". Ordered lasagna and a bottle of Chianti. All I can say is the wine was okay, but expensive. Doesn't any Italian restaurant take pride in making lasagna. I have had it in Venice, Florence and now... More

Live music provided good background to interesting flavoured food and (of course) good selection of wines. Friendly and efficient service. Seems popular generally.

We visited here for a nightcap. We sat outside, which was nice. It was late in the evening, and there was not entertainment at the time we visited. It was a bit pricey.

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
