Tasty gelato and nice selection of flavors. Staff was also friendly. We stayed across the street and stopped by nearly every day we were in Rome!

Good gelato when in and around Trastevere area. We found it was always worth going to find a good gelato place instead of having desert in a restaurant. Also handy location for catching a tram back across the river. Good selection of flavours, reasonable price and generous portions. Open late so we had time to explore after dinner before having... We went here after being hugely disappointed with the ice cream we got from a restaurant earlier in the day. This place is leagues beyond what we had there. Creamy and tons of flavors to pick from. Staff was friendly and price was reasonable.

OMG! Hands down the best gelato I've ever tasted!! I got the tiramisu and my niece got stratchatella (not sure of spelling). We both enjoyed what we got a plan to go back as much as we can until we need to leave lol. I like how it's not overly sweet like the ones in Canada which makes sense as... More

This place is a MUST! I have tasted so many ice creams during my life time, and this ice cream is the tastiest by FAR! Must try the Caramel, Cheese cake and Biscotti. Don't skip this place if you are in the Trastevere. The seller has a personality more tastier than her ice cream, she took a photo of my... More

Love this place! The blueberry cheesecake gelato is to die for, and the woman who owns the place is the friendliest and nicest gal around.

Maria-Grazia makes the best gelato! Especially the cioccolato 😋 Nice athmosphere and family run "artisanat"

Staying in Trastevere

Neighbourhood Profile
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
