Nice place, personable service, willing to adapt things from the menu. Seemed quite popular and not just with tourists. Seating inside and out.

Finding a decent restaurant in Rome after tours was challenging, we decided to try this restaurant since it was next door to Crosti Apartments and the waiter promised us to make a special dish not on the menu. Familiar to Italian cuisine in the USA...More

We ate here a few times in 2010 on a Family holiday, returning this time after a flight cancellation forced a stop-over. Not changed at all with the food and service being excellent as it ever was. Couldn't fault either.

Enjoyed the waiter / proprietor Marco -- an extrovert with lots of flare. Food was decent. Good to sit outside while the sun goes down. Nice pizza. Went there twice and have the photos with Marco to prove it.

Place is OK. We certainly had better pizza in Rome including at the the little bar across the street. Friendly wait staff, but don't become a hurry...

Friendly staff offered us free bruchettas for starters. Taste was ok. For main course we had lasagne, ravioli and pizzas. Pastas were good and I would recommend to stay with those due the pizzas were not that good at all.

I was expecting to taste a better food there after I checked the menu but it kind of disappointed me little bit...maybe I just didn't choose the wright thing... The service was good thought but its not the type of place on my taste!

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only
way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The
Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas
in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s
famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to
its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub,
Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot
vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
