Wonderful food at very reasonable prices. At there twice and both meals were excellent. Great service by very friendly staff.

I am very very happy with my decision to walk in this restaurant. The look is authentic and quaint, minus the american music playing. The spinach was amazing and the Margharita pizza even better. It is a think crust, which I normally don't prefer, but this was my exception. So much taste for a simple meal.

My boyfriend and I love coming to the Botte restaurant whenever we want to eat some very good homely italian food. The restaurant is very easy going, the atmosphere is layed back and relaxed, never too noisy. The food quality is very good (when compared to other similar types of resraurants), and is personally our favorite pick out of all... More

We had an enjoyable meal here recently. My husband enjoyed the grilled lamb chops but my roasted lamb was quite salty. I had the panna cotta for dessert but was more like crème caramel which I usually like but this was too sweet for me. The service was good but we didn`t expect to have to pay 10 percent service... We came across La Botte and it became our favorite local restaurant. We actually are here twice for dinner during our 4 day stay. Our son said it was the best pizza he has had! The bruschetta sampler was fantastic as well as the bucatini and other offerings on the main menu. The specials were also great so make sure... More

My crew and I were in Rome overnight on business on Christmas eve and were looking for some good Italian near our hotel. I found La Botte on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. Our waiter Antonio had some great suggestions. We started with some Caprese and mixed appetizers. I recommend the prawns shown here in my review, they... More

We visited this restaurant during our 5day trip in Rome. We ordered for first plate a pizza with garlic and οregαnο pizza and two plates for second dish. I ate ravioli and my wife had a amarticiana. I was pretty satisfied with my plate but my wife had some complaints about the taste of the bacon. I also believe that... More

My visit in the restaurant was in that hours that there were no one else. Though The waitress was stony and inhospitable. She brought the pane to the table, but I had to ask for the vinegar and olive oil. Food was average, I ate starter lasagne (10€) and drank glass of (not that good) house wine (5€). The bill... More

Visited for lunch 2 days running over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed both lunches. First day I had a Calzone followed on the 2nd day by a Tuna salad. Very well looked after and well worth a visit. And

We came across this place as we were walking back to our hotel. We got two pizzas to go and wish we would have gotten three (they were that good). Nice crispy thin crust with excellent flavor.

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
