I went in this restaurant my last night in Rome, just because it was close to my hotel. Oh MY GOD!!! I should have been gone here everynight, not just one, what a mistake! I've tried the classic menù with local recipes, such as carbonara, fettuccine and antipasti. Everything was great, as well as the "vino della casa". Great staff... More

I was looking into restaurants to go, and we found really good comments about it. Not surprised!! The food was amazing. We had the salami selection and chips as starters and pasta carbonara and one with basil and cheese as main course. Everything was delicious. The wine was also amazing!! We are staying just beside it and we haven't noticed... More

This fabulous little restaurant is on the next block to Light of Rome where we stayed. Used mainly by Italians, I couldn't read the menu so trusted the very friendly owner when he indicated he would choose for me. Wow, what a meal (still don't know what it was called), but was the best meal and dessert I've had in... More

Delicious traditional Italian food, and a super friendly staff! You can see why the locals also love this place... Even though the waiter tried his best in English, the locals didn't hesitate one bit to help him with the iPhone translation of "medium rare"...

This local restaurant offers no frills, but the menu follows seasonal produce, traditionally prepared but with a twist without being heavy. interesting combinations of flavours. Molto simpatico.

thought we try this place after following its reviews, not great looking from the outside and very rustic on the in but staff were very friendly, helping us with the blackboard specials menu, then serving us possibly the best pasta dish I have ever eaten and then followed by another ! The wine list was small (two reds) but the... More

A little off the beaten track, but well worth the diversion. Honest traditional Roman cusine with an alternative selection of interesting combinations of flavours & little extra delicacies. Excellent Carbonara pasta, a courgettes souffle to die for (tortina ai zucchini), & an apple cake that was ambrosia for the gods (tirtina di mele).
