Firstly, this isn't a posh sit down restaurant so there is little point comparing it to some of the restaurants on the same street which have dressed up waiters, candles on the table and twinkly lights entwined around sculptured plants on the patio. This is more like a cafe frequented by locals which serves food. It's family run and the... More

This is the same restaurant as the one also described on Trip Advisor as Ristorante alle Muratte, I'd recognise the elderly hunched lady anywhere as the one who told me off because my coat was on the floor! See my review for the other name, but recommended.

Visiting Rome for the first time we like many other walked the city to take in the atmosphere and the historic sites. Our first visit to this traditional Italian restaurant was to rest and enjoy the local wine. We were not to be disappointed with the service, the quality of the wine nor the price. We also enjoyed the atmosphere... More

Not fancy or pretentious just got hearty food! We ordered various pasta and pizza dishes all were great. The tomato had great flavour and was perfectly balanced. We had kids and restaurant was accommodating!

Whilst wondering around the Trevi Fountain, why not have a slice of pizza (one of the best I have had so far) with some delicious wine of the house (strong and smooth)? Sweet family run business with welcoming and absolutely charming characters. Fantastic chill time in the rush of Roma.

Bit of a tourist area near the Trevi, but fair prices and tasty food. Service was ok though not the most welcoming I've had in Rome.

Bad and late service, expensive price and no so good food. You are paying the place, that's all. Even we were alone, they didn't come. We had to ask for some of the dishes more than once and the bill was excesive, too expensive.

Random stop; on the way to some good shopping and saw the rice balls in the window. Definitely something to try! Was really good. Canelloni and Trevi pizza was good too! Must try. Decent price too.

Stopped here for a quick bite to eat and drink after the trevi fountain. Good food, very nice coffee and a lovely little location to watch the hoards of people walking towards the trevi fountain. Good value. Would return.

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
