After visiting the Colosseum, Roman forum, Palatino Hill, you will probably be ready for a break... drinks and food. We walked two blocks as all restaurants closer to the Colosseum were packed. This restaurant was just picking up as the crowds were getting ready for...More

The pasta bolognese didn't have meat in the dish. For us it's essential in a pasta bolognese. The pizza cardinale was ok. But had to add salt and oil since it was a little bit tasteless.

Although this restaurant has mixed reviews, our family enjoyed very good pasta, steak and seafood here (we stayed in the lovely Hotel Romano directly across the road) and even the house wine was drinkable, which is often not the case!

Absolutt not the worst tourist-trap in Rome. Pizza was good, wine-suggestions excellent. But if you want premier food, go a few blocks further away from Colosseum.

Tempted by a 20 Euro special of exactly what I wanted to eat. Boring as it sounds but Veal escalope and chips. Buying it individually would have cost the same but you get a house dessert thrown in. The house wine to wash it down...More

Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighbourhood just
west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as
it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet
for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season,
quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its
cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique
and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime
residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at
