We run into this restaurant just by chance - a local ‘fioraia’ in Campo de’ Fiori suggested us to go try it. Well.. cozy and family style ambient, tasty local food (I had the agnello al forno and puntarelle with anchovies as a side dish)...More

Dining outdoors at the end of October is a pleasure in itself but the food on offer contributed to the enjoyment as well. Particularly enjoyed the anchovy/burrata starter and the lamb Roman-style main course wasn't far behind. Dining companion did less well, finding the pasta...More

We just happened to walk by this place while looking for a nice spot to have dinner away from the tourist zone. Grappolo d'Oro met our requirements; customers were speaking Italian, people were drinking wine, there were exactly zero photos of food and they had...More

Nice little place with friendly, helpful staff, and a good selection of daily specials. It was mostly locals when we ate there, and dishes like tripe and oxtail assures one that it's not aimed at tourists. I don't remember what we had aside from the...More

We had arrived in Rome a few hours earlier after an overnight flight across a couple of time zones. It was early afternoon (2 pm-ish), and the weather was cooking and we had been wandering the streets for hours and we were starting to fade....More

Although this restaurant is close to the Piazza di Fiori it is very good. It was our last night in room and the restaurant was perfect. Very good food, good service and nice wines by the glass. The restaurant is terrific value for money. I...More

It was our very last dinner in Italy and we wanted to do the most of it. We ordered the standard menu for each for €22 per person. Wine excluded. Our mains were beef and lamb. The latter wasn't bad but the rest were just...More

We enjoyed dinner here on our second night in Rome. I had the Rigatoni and my husband had the Lasagne, both were delicious. Service was friendly and quick and the "house" red wine also gets a thumbs up.

Went here for dinner. The service in general was very good until the end when we were neglected by the waiters who were very busy. The food overall was ok, at times a bit bland. The pasta was nice but nothing special and you can...More

Lovely restaurant in the center of Rome. I can recommend also the Amatriciana and the meatballs (fried or in tomato sauce).

Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a
five-minute walk of each other, the
Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and
most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful
throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art
galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighbourhood
museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the
streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa

Yes they do. In fact most restaurants we went to accept credit cards. You may want to carry more than one type of plastic though, eg, Amex, Visa, Mastercard, etc. One final advise, you may want to change some euros in US... More
