This is a good restaurant, with very fresh fish and at a nice quite piazza. It is open on Sunday night which is terrific.

Great food and a lovely elegant ambiance. Not your regular touristic restaurant, but really a nice restaurant with great service and fabulous food.

Lovely place and really good food, it's probably not the cheapest but it's worth giving it a try! We loved the design of the place and the uniform of staff, pretty old school and the atmosphere is really cool. Also the staff was really friendly, I recommend any type of pasta (it's the best!) and the Giudia artichokes!

Piperno may be a little out of the way for some tourists, but for us this was a plus. A short taxi ride over the Tiber, and into a little (and rather easy-to-miss!) lane you'll find this Jewish-style Roman restaurant tucked away in a corner. When you enter, you're met with this air of old-school elegance; wood-panelling, heavy curtains, white... More

Caught the tail end of their lunch service so the initial ordering was slightly rushed so as to catch the kitchen but the food itself was delicious. We shared a starter of artichoke cooked with cheese, my with then had spaghetti with clams and I had the meat ragu. We had a glass of red and of white wine. Total... More

Piperno is highly recommended with the magic combination of its central location and being frequented by locals. Tucked in the corner of a small alley it has tables outside and a beautifully decorated dining room. The service is typically Roman and the food is beautifully prepared. The first course dishes could be larger and it's not for cheap eats, but... More

We had lovely table outside, but there was no air moving in this upscale restaurant located on hidden alley that has little air movement making it very hot on hot day. They need some fans! However, service great and food very good. Specialty fried appetizer plate rather tasteless aside from artichoke which was fabulous. Chickpea pasta, a specialty, was ok... More
