We ate here on NY Eve! Lots of places in Rome were doing a huge meal, with a huge price, and we wanted pizza and pasta! Lucked into finding a table here and we thought it was great. It was crowded but felt like locals, not touristy at all. My family felt the food, service, atmosphere and especially the house... More

Definitely the worst experiences I've had in Rome! The staff were unwelcoming and at times downright rude. When I asked about the additional charge that so many other reviewers have mentioned, the waiter (who claims to speak good English) said he "[didn't] know" about it and walked away. The service charge was in fact stated behind the menu, but I... More

Rudest staff ever. They gave us a table and then ignored us for ages, whilst serving everyone else that came in around us. Eventually we ordered simple 2 pizzas but when it came out they only brought one and just cut it in half and put it on 2 plates with no explanation where the other one was. We had... More

We went for lunch. The pizza was ok but be careful about your bill. The waiter claimed they didn't take credit cards and when the bill arrived they had added a 25% service fee. When we complained the manager said we should have gone to McDonalds! We will certainly never go back.

After a busy New Years Day we noticed this restaurant up a side street a few metres from the Trevi Fountain. It was full and we had to wait for a table which was absolutely fine as Rome was extremely busy that day. After 10 minutes we were shown to a table and ordered our meal and drinks. There was... If you're tired of being overcharged in restaurants made just for tourists, I recommend the L'Archetto. You will still see a lot of tourists there, but this restaurant serves you a very decent meal for a fair price. And just a few meters away from Fontana di Trevi. Although you will find many tables in this restaurant, it gets packed... More

Fell in love with Rome not just because of the sites but the food, too! I'm actually fantasizing about the day i'll go back to Rome and eat here again. Whatever pasta dish or pizza flavor always hits your carb spot and then some , everything was just magnifico 😝

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
