The main reason for visiting La Montecarlo was to re-encact the photo Morrissey took when visiting this restaurant a few years back and very recently in 2017. Out of the menu we chose Spaghetti Bolognese and Rugatini Carbonara. Food was exquisite.

Great pizzeria, huge portions of pizza and pasta. Large menu with plenty of choice from vegetables, pizza, pasta, meat, fruit etc. But most definitely the best thing on the menu is their pizza. One is large enough for 2. Thin bases & friendly service as...More

Our taxi driver a sweet young lady suggested this place, she said this was one of the best pizzeria's in Rome. And she was right. It is a little hard to find, but just keep looking down all the small street and there it is....More

Recommend by our hotel and upon arrival we had some doubts as it didn't look like the sort of place we would normally up in. Located just off the touristy areas La Montecarlo was heaving with very few tourists (a good sign). We had to...More

We had a very good lunch at the Montcarlo. The pizza is great - thin and crisp and great tastes. Pastas where also cooked to perfection. Nice vibes.

Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a
five-minute walk of each other, the
Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and
most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful
throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art
galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighbourhood
museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the
streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa
