I has dinner here 2 nights in a row with a group of 18 teenage students and 3 staff and all of us loved it. The staff welcomed us in such a friendly manner and my students commented on how comfortable they felt. The cooks and waiters catered so well for a range of allergies and intolerances and did so... This was our first stop after arriving in Rome and dropping our bags at the hotel. The restaurant looks good on the inside and the staff is very nice and polite. We all had pizza (I had a calzone), which was good. No complaints!

Nice pizzeria near Termini railway station. However the pizza is nothing special, not bad but not unforgettable. Prices are reasonable.

Terrible food....do not use this restaurant!! Main course served whilst still only half way through starters. Asked for steak well done ...arrived with loads of blood....then they incarnated it in the microwave! Very very poor

Came across this restaurant by chance. Wasn't too busy when we arrived but boy within half an hour the place totally filled up. Loads of big tour groups - glad we ordered when we did. Lasagne very good - not a huge portion which was find for me. Husband ordered the spaghetti carbonara - this was okay bacon was very... More

First, this is a local restaurant, lots of Italians here. We made an order via TripAdvisor and it seems that the restaurant didn't know about it. In any case we able to enter at the time we scheduled 20:00. Service: We were waited over 10 minutes till we called the waiter to take our order. The same issue was with... More

Demetrio from Bici&Baci brought us there after our Calessino tour and it was AMAZING! The food is delicious and the service is excellent! A good address to know in Rome! 10/10

Last night in Italy after 10 days and wanted a lazy easy meal close to the hotel. Recognised this meant a touristy restaurant close to the main station. While the food was ok, didn't expect to be quite so over-charged. First they added for a bottle of prosecco and not a glass. AND also added a 20% service fee. We... More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and was great, we chose a very large pizza to share between 4 of us and it was truly the biggest i've every seen and so fresh and tasty, the others had lasagne and carbonara and again these were very good, the only thing that was disappointing was that they had no rose wine!

Thank Lucy W

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
