This restaurant was supposed to be one of our highlights in Rome, a city in which we certainly know many restaurants. And we are Italians. Very disappointing service. Mediocre food or rather nothing spectacular. It can easily be bypassed.

Pretty amazing place that is for the locals. We were the only English speaking people here. We enjoyed ham and melon for a starter and then each of us had a different pasta. Our guide had some meat dish that was stuffed with carrots and...More

My family and I had lunch at Dal Toscano's after mass at the Vatican. It is a beautiful restaurant. We sat inside but you could also eat outside. We had three course meals with house wine. It was very good food. The pumpkin ravioli was...More

Want to wait one hour for just two pasta dishes? On top would you like to pay EUR 100? Do you like additionally to be harassed by street vendors while you are waiting? Sitting outside during Rome summer at 35 degrees with no ventilator? Then...More

I went to this restaurant three times in one week and I'm willing to fly to Rome again and again just to have dinner there. I recommend this restaurant with all my heart and soul 😊

Went for Sunday lunch and it was so pleasant to sit at a sidewalk table and watch residents stroll by. Pastas were very good and I loved the Torta della Nonna. Service was excellent.

Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is
the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in
a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is
a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and
wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every
shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and
gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but
that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets,

Prices were average, but my Saltimbocca alla Romana left a lot to be desired. And, as a single diner, I was virtually ignored by the wait staff. Not recommended.

I am sorry to respond late also. Shorts for men and women is fine. I have never seen anyone dressed up at the restaurant.
