I'm not entirely sure what to make of this place. It has a lot of old-style charm (the wine cellar looks stunning) and the food is good, and the service was also great. On the one hand it could be quite a classy establishment offering...More

We were a bit shy about going in- we were at the door 5 minutes before opening at the end of the week, but we were hungry even at an off hour. This was one of the best restaurants we enjoyed in Rome, so I...More

Glad to get out of the heaving centre to this unusual restaurant with bags of character. A good menu and wine list, service perhaps a bit over-formal. Food very tasty, fish dominated, and a brilliant selection of local wines. Well worth the journey!

A large group of us were here in December, it was a fabulous dinner with many courses. Everything was great. Excellent service. Beautiful interior with a fire, v Christmassy! There is a huge outdoor terrace and fountain. Lovely restaurant.

We had a lovely business small group lunch here in a private dining room, during which we went down into the dramatic wine cellar. The anti pasta was amazing with numerous delicious dishes followed by well cooked seconds. Amazing ambience in the winter inside as...More

So that works out to be a 3-Star restaurant in my opinion. Lovely outdoor arbors and gardens are offset by some of the blandest, dullest dishes I’ve ever had in Rome, and that includes take away. From apps to pasta to meat course to dessert,...More

We found this restaurant while walking from the Catacoms to Villla Massenzio on the Appian Way. Costly for lunch. Overall worth the price. My only complaint was that we were seated amongst tour groups. Well normally I wouldn't complain about that, it is a huge...More

We love to recommend this place to you all. Friendly, oberservant service - and magnificent food. We were deeply impressed by the serving of a whole fish - with no bones in it :) Both tasting menus - fish & meat - were so good....More

We went to L’Archeologia with my sister in-law and brother on a cool, rainy night. The ambience was warm and inviting. We didn’t even have a menu. The food was brought out to us, course after course. The experience was wonderful. The staff were attentive...More

I don't know if this answers your question, but when we booked, there was a TripAdvisor deal that said we would get a certain percentage off if we made a reservation on TripAdvisor's website. I honestly don't know if we... More
