So that works out to be a 3-Star restaurant in my opinion. Lovely outdoor arbors and gardens are offset by some of the blandest, dullest dishes I’ve ever had in Rome, and that includes take away. From apps to pasta to meat course to dessert,...More

We found this restaurant while walking from the Catacoms to Villla Massenzio on the Appian Way. Costly for lunch. Overall worth the price. My only complaint was that we were seated amongst tour groups. Well normally I wouldn't complain about that, it is a huge...More

We love to recommend this place to you all. Friendly, oberservant service - and magnificent food. We were deeply impressed by the serving of a whole fish - with no bones in it :) Both tasting menus - fish & meat - were so good....More

We went to L’Archeologia with my sister in-law and brother on a cool, rainy night. The ambience was warm and inviting. We didn’t even have a menu. The food was brought out to us, course after course. The experience was wonderful. The staff were attentive...More

Super service and very good food for the finesmecker, and the wine cellar is an adventure in itself. Must book in advance. Highly skilled and attentive waiters. Also no problem with gluten free food or other allergies. A wonderful experience recommended. Transportation easiest by taxi.

Beautiful restaurant with excellent seafood and wine. Make the reservation at least a few days in advance. Good for big groups- takes about 10 minutes to get there in a cab from Rome and you will need the restaurant to order you a cab when...More
