Lo Scopettaro was recommended to us by a friend who is from Rome and he wasn't wrong. We enjoyed everything that we ordered - liver, tripe, ox tongue, pasta, roast lamb, ox tail, all cooked in the traditional Roman style. Resturant has a casual 'Sunday'...More

Good traditional Italian food, i.e. satisfying pasta and the oxtail was particularly tasty. However, consider skipping the antipasti - the liver and the beans were rather dull, accompanied by equally uninspiring salami and intestines isn’t quite our thing. Otherwise a pleasant experience with friendly staff.

I went there with two friends. We got amatriciana and meat rolls with some vegetable. All the dishes are very tasty and made with fresh ingredients. Waiters are nice and polite. I highly recommend to eat here!

Put the house music on replay and you have Testaccio,
an ancient Roman port and former working class

every night of the week. Its collection of discoteche
(nightclubs), street parties, and crowded restaurants
give it its well-deserved party reputation. During the
daytime, Testaccio is more easy listening than club
hit, the area is full of locally owned small
