A relatively small Restaurant in a very charming part of Rome. The atmosphere is hectic and busy and there is not a lot of room between the tables. Expect a rather high noice level around peak hours 21.00-22.00 in the evening. Nevertheless the service fine...More

I was in town with my husband and local co-workers brought us here for dinner. Best meal in Rome hands down! We sat outside and had a very animated waitress :) Wine, apps, pasta...all delicious! I was forcing myself to finish my pasta because it...More

Solid traditional Roman dishes. This is the essence of comfort food, including gems like artichokes and pajata in a relaxed, easy going environment. The service if friendly and quick enough. We liked it a lot

We followed recommendations to peruse the menu and then ask our waiter to help us choose. We had a fabulous starter of grilled endive, bursts, anchovies, and a very thin, crunchy crepe. My husband and I shared a plate of mushroom fettuccine that was spectacular...More

My fiancee and I ate at Trattoria da Teo on our most recent trip to Rome. We did the piazza experience the night before, so we wanted something that focused more on the food than the ambiance. This restaurant was recommended by the hotel that...More

This was our first night in Rome, large group of 10, so not necessarily easy to find somewhere. This Trattoria was recommended by my sister's friend. We asked them to choose appetisers for us... oh my goodness they were good. There was octopus, artichokes, anchovies....More

Turned up at opening time and managed to blag our way in. Obviously a popular place. Its not a chic supersmart place frequented by fashion victims, rather a traditional small trattoria serving hearty food...which was delicious. I had oxtail which was lovely & tender and...More

I wish I could review the food but since we were brushed off twice and not responded to via a web booking request, I can only rate the staff. They are rude, dismissive and don't seem to want to engage or even discuss booking another...More

This is a tough one. Clearly, people love this place, including Romans. We went on the recommendation of the guy whose apartment we were staying in, and he's a long time local. We stopped in on a Thursday as they were setting up and were...More

The food was really delicious. The man who served our table was really nice. But not all the waiter or waitress are friendly. If you're planning to go, reserve before going is necessary. Without having reservation is not possible to eat.

Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded
postcard, a little worn around the edges but still
charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering
streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and
overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible
mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of
entertainment - a rotating set of street performers
entertains almost every night, and unforgettable

We did not have a reservation but we were there in April. I would try to get a reservation. I also recommend dropping by the restaurant and checking out the indoor and outdoor seating areas so you know which you want... More
