We went for dinner to this place on November 11th. After our group (6 women and 2 men) ordered, we were very fast served. 3 persons in our group are from Italian descent and they communicated with the servants. The food did not meet our expectations. The pizza Napoli and Bresaola looked nice but they were not warm and the... More

This gem of a restaurant was recommended to us and right down the street from our B&B. We went in for a late lunch on our first day in Rome. The food was so delicious - we went back for dinner later in the week.

The owner of the B&B we were staying in nearby recommended Novecento to us and we were not disappointed! Everything from the service, ambience, cleanliness not to mention the food was beyond perfect! We both opted for steaks and were recommended by our friendly and knowledgeable server a suitable wine to accompany it. The steak was simply fantastic and absolutely... More

The pizza was very good and tasteful as the green salad that we ordered. The service was very quick and the stuff at the restaurant very friendly! we found the location easy and it was positive that the traffic was very low at the time, and thats because the tables are on the sidewalk next to the street. so if... My husband and I were traveling with three other couples in Italy, meeting up in Rome to start with in mid-May. We stayed at the Althea Inn, and the owner recommended Novecento to us, which is just down the street from the inn. The restaurant decor and ambience was quite pleasant, and the servers were very helpful in making suggestions... More

Lovely atmosphere. Hard to choose from the menu, because everything looked so delicious. The pizza and pasta is really good and affordable.

I have been thinking about their carbonara since I was there in August! Absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was cute and rustic. It was right near our room at Althea Inn and was recommended to us. Glad we went!

Plenty of tables, friendly (family?) service and a 'different' menu. Great place if you're in the Piramide area and you decide 'let's go and eat somewhere'.

Staying in Testaccio

Neighbourhood Profile
Put the house music on replay and you have Testaccio, an ancient Roman port and former working class neighbourhood where the bass is set to high almost every night of the week. Its collection of discoteche (nightclubs), street parties, and crowded restaurants give it its well-deserved party reputation. During the daytime, Testaccio is more easy listening than club hit, the area is full of locally owned small businesses and has one of the city's larger produce markets.
