Food is just average, pizza was ok nothing special. Service is not the best. Plus you end up paying for bread that you did not order nor eat , 1 eur/ person , good old trick in Rome. I would prefer a transparent way like in Bologna where they have the classic coperto shown. Servizio is 15%, way too much... More

The venue looks very warm and welcoming: sits many but very cosy and authentic. Service was spectacular; professional, with class and welcoming. Never had to ask anything and always felt like a special customer. And as for the food, words cannot even begin to describe how amazing it was; from antipasto, pasta, pizza, drinks and desert. My mom, my daughter and... More

Good atmosphere with all the colorful old-fashioned decorations, nice waiters and food was actually really good. I had the grilled pork chop and potatoes. For dessert, I had their homemade tiramisu which was I think the best one I've ever had. There were a lot of people waiting and inside was full of laughter and smile I really loved there!

Our family of four stopped here for lunch. Great food -- main pasta dishes and pizza, at a very good value. Service was exceptionally good and the ambience was wonderful. Short walking distance to the Vatican, but far enough away from the main tourist centers.

We visited this restaurant after a recommendation from our hotel manager. The food was good and reasonably priced. The restaurant did have a 'chain' feel to it, however the food was good and the service was fast and friendly

Simply great! A local restaurant preferred by local people - and they know why! As I said above, the atmosphere, service and food are really good - and good value too! We went 4 times during our stay in Rome and were greeted as friends each time. Don't be misled by the name - the menu offers a great selection... More

This place is great! Not your touristy trap like many nearby. They serve great, high quality (!!!) dishes ranging from deep fried artichoke (seasonal) to a pretty solid steak. Their appetizers are phenomenal and the Torta Della Nona is a great way to finish the meal. You can book online for even more convenience.

Had some excellent pasta on a Saturday night. The place was packed with people waiting. Wine was great, as was the service. If not our last night in Rome, we would have returned.

Visited this restaurant a number of times during a recent trip to Rome. The 5 of us ate a variety of pasta, pizza and the mixed grill, Anti-pasta dishes are amazing. Even the most unadventurous among us was happy trying new dishes and enjoying. House Reds and Whites are lovely and excellent value for money @ 9 Euros a1 Ltr.... More

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
