I knew the place and had been in several times. I used to like the carbonara. But after the obvious cool styled renovation the Pallarola lost its flair. I had “only” the Carbonara, which was average. And the waiters behaved like “what, that’s all”. I...More

This is a modern place where diners have space around them, so would be good for an intimate dinner. We found the service to be excellent, with great suggestions and explanations of the dishes on offer - many being Roman specialities. Everything we had was...More

This is a traditional restaurant recommended to us by a Italian friend who lives in Rome. It is located near the Campo de' Fiori square and can be easily reached from Piazza Navona in a 15 minute walk. We went there for lunch and were...More

Waiter (Oreste) alone would have made the day - but the food was awesome. Seafood pasta to die for. Best ever coffee - and I’m a coffee snob. Would love to come back for a dinner

Went to La Pollarola saturday night 21. The service and the food was excellent. The prices were fair. Had to wait a bit fo the food, which indicate that it is fresh made. A very good evening - sure that we will come back :)

I state pretty good because the appetizer (a soup made of broccoli, fish and tomatoes) was amazing. My main course, veal and some type of pork...well, I didn't taste a lick of sage and the red cabbage concoction was horrible. So it's a mixed bag....More
