Really great service and nice place. Our son wanted french fries with ketchup as a side dish and they don't serve "junk food" , but they sent someone to buy them just for us!

We were strolling around the tiny streets of Bologna when we decided to have lunch at Ristorante Pizzeria "Da Ciro" di Alfredo Sinisgalli. It looked like a no-frills, friendly place where a lot of nice Italian folks had lunch and we decided it had to be good. It was! They serve hearty, tasty food at very good prices. The people... We were happy to stumble upon this restorante. We ordered three pizzas and a salad to share among four people and it was plenty of food plus very tasty. Personal favorite was the pizza with prosciutto but our table voted the pizza with ricoto as the best.

After being turned away from snobbier restaurants because we had no reservations we walked around looking for a place that would embrace us. Glad we found Da Ciro. Although a pizzeria, their menu is quite extensive and fit our mood. Lovely service, no stress and food was delicious because it was basic. Not a lot of frill, not glamorous, but... More

We ordered the cheese and sausage pizza and it was delicious! The crust and sauce was so good. I wish someone would make something even close to this in the states!

Both pizzas were very good, the bases perfectly cooked (and unburned) . Service was efficient and friendly. Recommened.

Simple restaurant off the main streets. Does what is says on the tin - pizza: good honest food. Wednesday lunchtime it was full of locals. We went back on the Saturday - nuff said.

My friend and I enjoyed a very nice pizza for lunch, nice and thin, excellent crust and we'll balanced topping (not too rich and sickly!) We also ordered some excellent deep fried breaded meat stuffed olives and finished the meal with a nice tirramissu and coffees. Good friendly prompt service in a traditional pizzaria. Would highly recommend.

What a great little pizzeria. Very local and full of Italians which is always a good sign when in Italy. We all had a pizza and a pasta to share. They were all fantastic. One of the best pizzas we have had in Italia. Well worth a visit. Very very reasonable pizza margarita €4.5 great and fantastic. Staff very very... More

Have eaten here several times in the past. Great place for good quality pizza, which tends to fill up every lunchtime and later at night, so make sure to arrive early if you want to have a table. If the place is full, temperature gets high inside... Location Is just around the corner and out of sight from shopping streets,... More
