Traditional Italian dishes with excellent service and a great price tag. Would highly recommend! The organic wine is nice too.

Imagine a small restaurant with amazing gourmet - style food, a fusion of foods from Molise (in Center-South) and the Bologna/Modena area. With great wine and service. And imaginative cuisine. Definitely the most amazing joint in Bologna.

We are happy that we found this wonderful trattoria thanks to tripadvisor. When we booked lunch there they asked us for 10 euros deposit per person which we found OK as the place is small and it is a "slow food" restaurant. Flavio, was very friendly and helpful. He explained the menu in English. We chose "Tortellini tradizionali in brodo... More

If you're in Bologna, take the time to visit this absolutely incredible restaurant. This is the kind of meal you will not forget. Truly local and native to the region. Flavio went over the entire menu in English and was incredibly accommodating. If you're visiting Bologna, make a reservation (in advance) and do not miss eating here.

We arrived at the restaurant without booking BIG MISTAKE! Do not come here without make a booking well in advance!. There were no tables but Flavio the owner let us sit in the entrance area at the waiting table, sadly for everyone who came after us got turned away. The food was simply delicious Every dish simply heavenly. The soup... More

I want to thank those here on TA and on Chowhound for cluing us into this wonderful place. On the way to Florence from Venice, please stop in Bologna for lunch. There's a reason they call Bologna "Il Grosso" - it's the best eating city in Italy. And at the top of the heap is Trattoria di Via Serra, run... More

We were in Bologna for a few days and found this restaurant through TripAdvisor. We decided to walk there and give it a try because it ranked well. When we arrived the host told us he was fully booked and couldn't accommodate us. It was 8 PM but the reservations he claimed to have at 7 PM didn't show up,... More

I had read reviews on this restaurant and was impressed but a little apprehensive regarding the prices, but need not have worried. Such is the demand for this gem of an eatery, we had to wait 4/5 days to get a booking, believe me it was worth the wait. Flavio (the owner) took time to explain every dish on the... More
