I had the chance to come regularly to Parma for work and this place was recommended by several colleagues. I had eaten there every time I was visiting as this was the place to be. By far this was my favourite restaurant in Parma. I tried many things on the menu and many of their wines and never was disappointed.... More

My wife and I walked to this out-of-the-way restaurant and got there right when it opened. We were the first ones in, no one was outside the door, and the fellow (in Italian) told us that they were full. He motioned to his watch that he didn't know why the hadn't arrived. So, we figured it was some event so... More

The hotel where I was staying recommended the Osteria and it was great! Good location, very good service and food. The ravioli with pumpkin was excellent.. Obviously a place for locals and I will definitely return.

Small osteria in the heart of Parma with traditional local food. I personally found the first courses too generously covered in butter, but I didn't go there for that. Besides, the anolini in broth were delicious. The place is famous for its horse meat, which I recommend in its tris version, roast, pesto (a typical Parma way of preparing meat)... More

We were advised by a local tour operator to try this place. We were so glad that we took her advice. It's in a quiet, almost deserted back street near the Duomo, small and pleasantly decorated. The staff were friendly and patient with our attempts at speaking Italian. My wife had a risotto with mushrooms and salsiccia. I tried some... More

My wife and I dined here recently for lunch and had one of the best meals we had in our time in Italy. The food was incredible. We had the Ravioli and Pumpkin which was to die for! The pork and balsamic was also extremely delicious. We liked it so much, we tried to dine in the next night, but... More

We stayed one evening mid week and the place got full quickly. Actually it got almost too busy and it was difficult to get attention from the waiters as they were extremely busy. We felt welcome in this place, nonetheless. Food was delicious. Both pasta and the meat and cheese platters were great. Bread could have been fresher, but overall,... More

This restaurant is situated just past Parma Cathedral. We went in a couple of nights earlier but they were full so we booked. A good job we did as it was full again when we ate. The reason for this is that the food is delicious. I had the pork cheeks which were beautifully tender and had a great depth... More

This restaurant was recommended by the owners of the B&B we stayed in. They said it was popular with locals and very small. We made a reservation and were not disappointed. Wonderful local food. Platter of mixed Parma meats to start. Pasta was tender and delicious. My husband actually walked on the wild side and tried the horse roast beef.... More

Small but well presented restaurant with lovely welcoming ambience. Moderate price and well worth the money. Busy, and we were lucky to get a table. We had been recommended to go to this restaurant by a local cafe owner. Prosciutto and pasta to start - we shared one portion. Excellent. Then, as horse meat was a big menu feature, my... More
