Nice place. Nice owner. I appreciated the menu. Simple, short and full of news. Every day the chef add some plates. Good. Many types of wine, the majority of them very excellent. Yesterday night we drunk two bottle of white Antinori, Franciacorta. Surely I want to return there.

Best pesto pasta dish we've had so far, in a quaint setting. Started dinner with fried anchovies. Nice wine selection and wait staff was eager to please.

I booked a wine pairing experience online and WOW! The meal was FANTASTIC! I highly recommend the experience! It was also obvious that despite a lot of marketing, this is a friendly family run business also frequented by locals. The waiter even let me use his cell phone charger and I felt very welcome and comfortable dining solo.

I came across this osteria by coincidence and decided to go in for a light lunch. Friendly service, budget friendly but limited menu. When a restaurant has a limited menu, I expect them to have a couple of well executed signature dishes or regional specialties. I ordered the zucchini beignets because I could not find another appealing dish on the... More

Mainly seafood and simple wines.....but a good selection of both. A nice welcome by hard working staff. Everything very fresh...you could do far worse.

This restaurant features a small but very well curated wine shop attached. Excellent selections across all price levels and regions. Many older reds and large formats laying around too. Feels like you discovered someone's secret wine cellar. An older gentleman assisted; he and the woman who I think are owners seemed to be extremely knowledgable. He stopped by my table... More

A friend and I recently had lunch at San Matteo which we had found by chance while walking around the back vias of Genoa. The structure is an excellent example of old-world Genovese architecture with arched brick ceilings and two small dining areas. We arrived at 1330 and had a glass of prosecco at the bar until a table became... More

By mistake we came into this restaurant. The hostess knows her job, and languages. Didn't see a lot of good hospitality over here during our stay. The food was very Nice and price quality ratio is good. Been there for a second time and had a very pleasant diner. If you ever looking for a nice restaurant with good service,... More

We stumbled on this restaurant after we had found that a nearby restaurant recommended in a guidebook was closed for holidays. We are so glad that the more famous restaurant was closed, as we had such a lovely first meal at Trattoria Migone that we went back the next evening for just as pleasant a meal. Because the owners also... More
