We had spaghetti and house red wine. Wine was not great. Mama Mia is far superior but they were closed. However grateful restaurant was open because this time of year the town is closed up!!

When I've been in the summer always felt rushed and food seems to be small portions and not always attractive. In the winter, perhaps because not so many tourists, food definitely is worth going to. Pizza is great all year

A group of six visited Pappagallo for diner. We were lucky to get a seat as we had no reservations. Would advise visitors to make a reservation. A variety of dishes from pizza and pasta were ordered and everyone raved about their selection. Tried to go back the next night but alas no reservations. In short great food and atmosphere... More

Everything we tried between four of us was delicious. Atmosphere of typical Italian family style taverna. Busy with locals and tourist. Lovely veranda. Good service.

The place is quite packed, and the waiters have a stretching notion of a 2-minutes wait. Once seated the food was promptly served. The desserts seem all homemade. The place seems to have more seating after 9pm.

Went here on local recommendation of the hotel. Well service was good so all stars to that. The food ordered was a classic Italian fare menu( u have to try hard to go wrong with this) Pizza Margherita Pizza Salami And Penne al arrabbiata Pizzas were nice and thin. A bit too thick on the edges and with not much... More

Pizza was superb! The next time I tried the veal and it was so good, too. Love Italian restaurants that provide the entire experience for us North Americans. Enjoy checking out the desserts on entry in the display case. Chef is also somewhat on display!

We visited right before the restaurant closed. The staff harried, but helpful. Pizza, not one of the best we had while traveling.

Our tour guide recommended this restaurant. The staff were friendly & quick & the pizzas were out of this world. A lot of locals eating there so that says it all

Had lunch in the garden with my spouse. The pizza was wonderful, can't imagine going back to the american packaged, grated mozzarella cheese after eating here. Porchinia, blue cheese, capers, buffalo mozzarella. Heaven
