A bustling place with excellent and efficient service. Good portions of excellent food, served simply, but with fresh and tasty produces. Nice little restaurant... but busy, go early (around 7 o'clock). Nice wines by the glass.

A small and intimate restaurant hidden away in a side street. Great decor giving it a farm house type of atmoshere. The service and food were excellent as was the wine. Not overly expensive but good value.

It's a tiny establishment, but so are most. The service was great. The wild boar was excellent, perhaps the best meat we had in our 16 days in Italy. What a great little find of a Restorante down the side alley in Stresa. Mom and Son run this great little eatery and the food is great on top of the personality of the owners. A must place to eat if you are in Stresa!

Food very good. Very small with nice background music which makes for a nice ambience. Quirky decor. Suitable for small children and buggies.

We ate here twice during our stay in Stresa, and both times La Botte was wonderful. A family run business with great food and a wonderful atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

This place is very small and was full Of Americans which leads me to believe it must be in all the guide books. We got a table right away but we arrived as soon as they opened for the evening meal. Seems to be efficiently well run and both hubs and I had the daily special -- he the fish... More

The restaurant offers very tasty food, fresh fish and good wine. Best place we've been in Stresa. Plenty of locals which is always a good sign.

I've been there with my girlfriend. It's a small restaurant so make sure you have a reservation. Good prices and good food. I'll be back again in the future
