We went there for lunch and unfortunately we wasted 70€ for: - bad food: dry Swordfish, the other fish dish was fried and the Tagliatelle have been prepared with dried Porcini -> awful and inedible - unfriendly service As we said that the meals weren't tasty, the waiter just made a face. Just go to another restaurant. There are plenty... More

I read some of the negative reviews after we had eaten there. We had a very pleasant experience at this restaurant. The staff was very friendly as we tried to speak our bad Italian. They warmed up and spoke English with us. The atmosphere was very cozy and warm. I ordered the seafood pasta dish and it was excellent. My... More

We sat 4 people - two couples Our wifes weren't hungry, we ordered 3 dishes, and they kicked us out from, we have been told that they are a restaurant and not fast food, that was very sad that restaurant who serves tourists act in that way

While in Stresa this past month, I had many a meal at this family friendly restaurant. The staff is wonderful, the food is fresh and cooked to perfection. The kitchen staff went out of their way to make me a dish that was not on their menu. Giuseppe picked great wine to accompany the perfect dish!

Maître D was very pushy and rude. He had no manners , in fact he pushed past an elderly man who was being shown to his table with no apology. I ordered gnocchi in a mozzarella and tomato sauce. I couldn't taste the mozzarella and the rest tasted like a cheap tomato sauce full of overpowering oregano. Bread was served... More

This place made me realize why I love fish in Italy. I had trout and my spouse had clam pasta. Well cooked and well served. The bread was yummy. As a bonus, they served us limoncello at the end of the meal.

Came across this restaurant whilst visiting Lake Maggiore on holiday and had a lovely evening meal, so much so we returned again the next evening! The staff were very friendly and helpful on both occasions despite our lack of Italian and made us feel very welcome. The evenings were made even more enjoyable by the 'live' solo entertainment.

We were going to eat here one evening and upon passing the maître d, he started pushing us to eat here. The restaurant was full, so where was he going to seat us? To my amazement, he started to push another couple out by rushing them to pay. This was most embarrassing, so we slipped away and walked along to... More
