Fabulous freshly made sandwiches to suit all tastes! The proprietor is friendly and passionate about what he makes and they are delicious. This is a great option for portable lunch and he will cut and wrap for you. Highly recommend

For a quick and tasty lunch in Stresa, stop by Cicinin Panini! Purchase your sandwiches from the ground floor window and then take them upstairs to a cozy room with tables/chairs and a few balcony tables overlooking the street and passersby. The owner is delightful, takes pride in the local ingredients, and cuts the freshly made sandwiches to provide the amount you want. Our sandwich had cheese and assorted vegetables. (While the long sandwiches are made fresh for each lunch, they are not made to individual specifications--you will select from the assortment he has available and he'll cut off the amount you wish.) Assorted beverages, including soft drinks and local beer.

Very delicious vegetarian Panini! The owner was very friendly and spoke english well. He explained the origin of the products and the sizes of the paninis. Great option for a quick lunch!

What an amazing eatery, fresh artisan panini’s ( not toasted more baguette)
Menu changes daily with the most freshest ingredients
Staff very friendly speaking English, French of Italian happy to explain what’s inside each panini and where the produce comes from and how they made it
Seats and terrace available upstairs
If your getting a boat to the islands of preparing to go Home get yourself a panini to go they are the best

The guy who makes these baguettes is an artist. The baguettes are perhaps a metre long and they will cut off as much as you want, although the standard size is very generous. Usually there are four different ones, including a vegetarian one. They are made fresh. The meats and flavours put together are sublime, if they are to your liking. Each one is meticulously explained. But if you can catch them open in an evening, have an artisan beer and a couple of tapas (open slices of baguette with meats, etc). Don't be put off by the description of the beers, they are real beers. Then you can go upstairs and sit on the balcony and watch the world go by. We bought more tapas and made a meal of it. We took every opportunity to have food from here, even buying when they opened and taking it for a picnic where possible.The guy speaks very good English, and most likely other languages too. If you are in Stresa, this place is a must!

This is a great place to pick up a fresh sandwich.
Very high quality and great value for money.
You can, if you wish, eat upstairs with a view out over the square.

PRO'S: Perfect sandwich for lunch. We enjoy 2 hour lunches in Italy but we needed a break. Great fresh sandwiches. Be sure and sit upstairs and watch the Piazza crowd.
CON'S: None
SUMMARY: Great break from long meals. Fresh, tasty sandwiches with the helpful, lady owner explaining everything in English.

Loved loved loved this place. Simple, clean and friendly sandwich shop. Four choices but all made with fresh, local products and you choose how much you want. 12 euro for 2 3/4 length sandwiches and 2 drinks is very good considering what you get. Very kind, friendly, highly recommended.

Their sandwiches were fresh and good! Very reasonably priced. He will cut to the length that you would like. If you do not want to sit in the square, there are tables inside.

The secret of these sandwiches,and the owner is willing to share it,is if it’s not in season,he/they,don’t use it.
I’ve had quite few different ones in the last couple of weeks and they have been so tasty and different. Today I had roast beef with Sardinian tomatoes and they were the best that I have ever tasted.
We are here for two more weeks and when I want a sandwich in Stresa this is where I will come back to. Cannot recommend highly enough...

We visited today to grab a sandwich following good reviews and were surprised to find that you can sit and have your food on premises. There are stairs to the left once you purchase to go sit and look out over the square. Very pleasant experience, friendly staff and good food, reasonably priced...half a metre sandwich between 2 and soft drinks set us back €10.
