They want to make a fool of you. You sit at the table, order food/drinks. You must pay at the moment they bring your stuff. And guess what?! They don't give you any fiscal receipt. If you ask for it, they annoyed say to you to go to the counter and request it: this is absolutely unacceptable for a western... More

We had lunch at this place and would never go back; i ordered bigoli and got bucatini instead. My son ordered tortelli. The dough was chewy and sort of reheated, certainly not freshly cooked. The only decent dish was my wife's soup. Hard to mess up a soup.

I'm writing in English, so also tourists can understand the opinion. Probably the worst place in which I've ever been eating. 70 gr of meat is not enough, moreover if it is cooked in a microwave. Awful quality, awful experience. Please try other restaurant in the area: Mantova is full of nice places for lunch and dinner. I really don't... More

We sat at a table and asked for a glass of house wine. We expected to have some pinxtos, little bites so popular in Spain. The couple sitting right next to us ordered and they got a plate full of the little amuse bouches. We got nothing! On top of it, they had the nerve to charge 10 Euros for... More

From the outside the place looked cosy so we went in for lunch. They offer several menus which basically is a dish including coperto, water and café. We had the lasagna and the dish with 3 montovian pastas. Everything was OK. Ok, the lasagna was warmed up, but that is not that unusual for lasagna... Service was friendly, toilets ok.... More

3 people. Ordered 3 Franciacortas, 1 was flat (no bubbles). Aperitivo consisted of 3 stale mini-canapés. Avoid. For a real aperitivo in Mantova, go to Caffè Borsa for an ample selection of aperitivi and good drinks or Caffè Venezia.

Creepy food cooked in the Middle Ages and served to our table in a kinda mineralized state, microwaved hot though. My daughter broke her fork trying to drill the lasagna searching or a bechamel sauce sample. Unless you like this type of extreme experience don't risk your life.
