I had a business lunch. After having read few reviews I wanted to try. Quality of food pretty below average (we took the "piatto del giorno") while price above the average. 4€ per person as "coperto". Coffee 3 €....

The place was almost empty but they did made a lot of confusion while ordering. When we booked, for just 16 people, they started complaining about offering a fixed menu instead of an "a la carte" one: too work in the kitchen (???). Normal level food but desserts were poor or eventually really bad. The quality/price ratio says that's not... More

Terrible experience. Arrived at 8.00 pm with family to celebrate a birthday. Waiter insisted that we ought to eat what he wanted rather than let us choose what we wanted. Asked for a bottle of wine from their so called "Preferred " list in the menu and they did not have it. Neither did they have a second choice of... More

Food is excellent, wine very good, service superb. The look of the restaurant is ancient and row (bricks, wood, floor) but very warm.

Actually, this restaurant is not "ten minutes from the centre" as much depends on your form of transport. Rather more like 30 mins, as it is in a suburb, once green fields centuries ago, hence the 'farmhouse' structure and garden. Authentic Italian food, in a very attractive interior, pleasant lighting and sharp service. Eating there this Autumn we found a... More

Imagine a peaceful corner of heaven in downtown Milan, where a beautiful garden welcomes you just 10' away from Piazza Duomo. There you are at Cascina Corba. According to the wheather you can choose a table in one of the warm internal rooms (with exposed bricks) or in the perfectly-kept external garden. Warm and cozy the welcoming (but never invasive).... This is a traditional ‘trattoria’ style restaurant located in a refurbished farmhouse dating from the seventeenth century, just off the Via Lorenteggio. Admittedly it’s not exactly in the city center, but it does have an actual proper garden, which can be used for dining in permissible weather - a nice feature compared to the usual restaurant courtyard or patio. The... More
