This is one of my go to Resturants in Milan. Location is great and the food is excellent. Though I have eaten here several times I have never been disappointed. The staff is most friendly especially Nickolas the owner. Not a bad thing on the menu and the atmosphere is fantastic. Try the meat on a stick (sorry forgot the... More

Went there for a dinner, the staff was very polite and the place looks really nice and intimate. Few tables but they have waiters and sommelier taking care of the customers. Our waiter was called Nicolo, super service and we were very happy with everything! Nice place for a romantic dinner but also smart place for business dinners and private... More

Exceptional! After sleuthing for restaurants, I dropped in last night. First, the pictures don;t do it justice; it's very warm, charming, and rustic, yet refined with white tablecloths and servers (and the owner) well dressed. The food quality was absolutely superb, presentation splendid, and prices very reasonable for the quality. The owner also happily helped me with wine recommendations, being... More

La Dogana del Buongusto is the best restaurant in milan. :) Big opinion huh? One could argue on each aspect of dining out... food, wine, service ambiance, etc. When you put everything together in perfect balance, that's amazing and that it La Dogana del Buongusto. The staff is consistent, very gentil, informative on the wine and food as well as... More

We came to enjoy a great wine tasting class and were impressed enough to stay for dinner. Wine tasting class is very intimate with lots of helpful, easy to understand insights from the owner that prepare you better for future wine tastings. Atmosphere in the restaurant downstairs is great and the food is wonderful.

The first night of our trip we did a wine tasting here (booked through Viator) and enjoyed the atmosphere, staff, wine and food so much we decided to come back for dinner. The meal was the best we had in Milan - ordered the burrata and beef tartare as appetizer, schnitzel and goose ragout as a main, and tiramisu and... More

Don't be fooled by the small entrance, there are three levels with varying histories which the waiter told us about. Great atmosphere-eclectic and quaint. The food was excellent and authentic Italian cuisine. You must try it if you stay in Milan. Make your reservation through The Fork.

Description
Typical Milanese restaurant in the city centre. Offering local and all-over Italy traditional recipes focusing on the quality of our ingredients. A large selection of Italian wines is available. Changing our menu every month we try to keep our offer as seasonal as possible. Open also for lunch with cheaper but not trivial menus

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
