Genuine locals streetside cafe. I just stopped for a beer here whilst my wife popped into a rather good handbag shop next door. Lovely beer. My wife joined me and had a coffee. We ended up just chatting and people watching for an hour. Friendly owner. Really nice cafe. The aperitivo looked great too

Decent prices and all that, but I was not allowed to take the coffee outside even tho they had tables outside with ashtrays on. The last time I was here for a coffee six months ago the same staff was super nice, maybe they're having a bad day.

Enjoyed it. We stopped here to relax and have a rest from sightseeing. Free wifi. Good coffee. Nice people. Would definitely go back again.

We visited this place for a cup of tea and a glass of red wine in between sightseeing. The tea was really bad (maybe the taste came from the water as tea came from a bag) and it cost 5€!! So watch out for the "tourist prices", we're not going there again. Otherwise ok cafe/bar even though the staff doesn't... More

Convenient in an interesting, central shopping and walking area next to the largest park in central Milan: check. Free wi-fi: check. Quiet and still diverse customers, interesting to watch and even talk to when you take your eyes off the screen: check. Radio; a bit noisy; run-of-the-mill easy listening pop; you can probably ask to turn it off for the... More

Staying in Brera

Neighbourhood Profile
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
