A perfect place for a delicious "piadina", a healthy salad and a wonderful "crostata" with fruits for lunch. Good coffee and croissants. Worth visiting at any time of the day!

We went to this little place after our dinner because we passed it several times on our way to the hotel and the pastries always looked incredible in the window. Best choice ever. I think it was the owner who helped us (strong tall guy) and he was extremely charming, very welcoming and with a good sense of humour. We... More

When you go into this café, you'll be spoilt for choice! Prices are pretty normal for the quality that is offered.

Went here for lunch with a friend! Was a lovely little cafe with lots of amazing cakes and desserts! The lunch was lovely, salads were huge and staff were friendly. It was a little expensive but what can you expect? It's in Milan!

Their ice cream selection is amazing, there are always new tastes coming in in, and you can feel the quality of the ingredients, also the portions are quite big and they have a good selection of desserts and cakes

I love this place! Firstly, decoration is original and the lil shop at the entrance is so cute, especially if you like shabby chic. Food is well prepared, everything has a milk base and that says it all. Service is fair, even though during lunch time the place gets quite full. Don't forget to try a dessert or a gelato,... More

Expensive and pretentious. Not worth a visit. A set menu for breakfast (1 croissant, 1 hot drink and 1 orange juice) was €9.90

I've heard very good things about Biancolatte, and we went for lunch. We ordered a tagliere di salumi as starter and pasta as a main course - it was good but nothing special.

Very cozy busy place, white bright interior, friendly staff, excellent breakfast in an easy going atmosphere. Has a real nice touch to it and we will return.

I had lunch with a friend here on a business day. The place seems amenable at first, well decorated, all in white. It is a mix between a bakery, an ice cream shop, and a bistrot. However when you get to the tables, they are minuscule with not enough place to sit and place your jacket. It gets really crowded... More

Staying in Brera

Neighbourhood Profile
Brera
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
