Had lunch twice here and loved the food, very tasty, healthy (except for the veg pie and cake), not overly spicy and very filling Lunch was a thali with salad, dhal, rice, broccoli & cauliflower, and veg pie & dessert (apple cake). Thoroughly enjoyed. U get 2 free dishes u can choose. Very peaceful and quiet.

Nice place, friendly staff but quality of food "poor" Quality price (euro 25) not conviced me. I do not understand why i was obliged to pay the membership card (5 euro) It should be reported before

Excellent food, ambiance and service. We ordered Indian thali here and were really satisfied with the variety of dishes and the overall service. Highlight were some of the servings with an amazing blend of Indian and Italian delicacies

The food here may not be authentic Indian but this place is definitely worth a visit for its ambience and influence of Iskcon temple which is just below the restaurant. The food is cooked without onion and garlic

I tried to find this place a couple of years ago, but without a luck. I tried again with a friend and someone just walked out, so I did find it. We entered and had to become members if we wanted to eat there. 5 euro's each. Then we went into the dining part and were seated. It are all... More

I was in we when I first walked into this restaurant. Is the interior ever gorgeous! The stunning architecture and ambiance is just the beginning, though. The staff are so kind and helpful and the meal was fantastic. Did I mention the great location a couple of minutes walk from Duomo Square? Great combination! We arrived early one evening and... I am shocked to see some favourable reviews for this place! This place is so ridiculously overpriced that we just couldn't stomach the food; the less said about the food the better. There were NO ROTIS with the thali at all!!! WHO SERVES A THALI FOR 25 EUROS WITHOUT ANY ROTIS?????? We went there for dinner and only the dessert... More

I am vegetarian and i have lived in India and been to other Hare Krishna restaurants around the world but this is special! First of all the hall where the round tables are(you eat with other people)looks so luminous and you feel instantly relaxed.I chose the (9€menu (salad, vegetable rice, mixed veggies and a dessert)and you can help yourself for... The food in the restaurant try's to ape Indian food served across Hare Krishna temples around the world. However, the quality and taste are far from a typical Hare Krishna restaurants. The menu for lunch is fixed and you only get to choose if you want a big plate or a small plate. Do try the different teas they offer... More

Located in one of the quaint by-lanes of Milan Via-Valpetrosa, this place makes you search for it until you're almost dead. . . Having entered you're welcomed by amazingly courteous staff, smiling, cheerful cladded in white sarees and tulsi-mala.. Everything here comes as a surprise, and the so called Satvik food concept has been taken to such rock bottlomly lows... More

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
