I would define Sofia chinese bistrot a fusion restaurant. It offers Japanese food (udon, soba, sushi) and Chinese food, like great dim sum. The place is cute, the personnel is frindly and smiling and, in good weather, it's possible to eat outside with direct view on the Unicredit tower. I have been at Sofia several times for lunch and dinner.... More

Excellent take on Chinese cuisine by, I believe, an Sardinian chef in a Chinese-owned restaurant. Friendly, efficient service too. These guys know what they are doing, and do it very well. Not cheap, but good value.

I can only comment on lunch. I'd have to go there for other meals and at other times of day to comment on breakfast or dinner. The Dim sum were good. I had chicken curry with basmati rice. The restaurant was crowded and full but the food quality was good and the plates were hot. We also tried the shrimps... More

A successful experiment between Asian and Mediterranean cuisine made with fresh and quality ingredients. Cozy and elegant, Sofiabistro is situated in the Isola area, the latest upcoming amusement nightlife quarter, behind new Milan' skyline. In the menu a wealthy list of dim sum with rolls and a variety of dumplings plus a list of carpaccio and fish tartare, spaghetti, rice... More

When exceptional service happens it must be noted. From the beginning to the end our dinner, the care from the owner and staff was perfect. Kind, welcoming, smiles, and small talk with my bosses daughter, it was all really nice. The food was fresh and succulent also. It's been time since I've had dim sum and they had a great... More

It is actually not a Chinese restaurant, it is a good fusion restaurant. Still is different from other fusion restaurant in town as they have a menu based on just special dishes. They mix Italuan tradition with Chinese product, the result is quite good.....for sure unusual.

The place is cool and the waiters are nice. The food is a great surprise: not your usual Chinese restaurant. We had prawn salad with avocado, chicken curry and dim sum and all was perfectly cooked and presented. A good addition to a pleasant area of Milano. The prices are in line with the quality.

I think it is more accurate to call this an Asian restaurant. The restaurant serves a mix of Vietnamese, Thai, and Chinese. Not entirely traditional, is asian food with italian flair. The best dish we had here was the thai curry shrimp with rice. The rice alone earned 4 stars. The rice had a hint of sweetness, with the refreshing... More
