Italians sure do love their food. By the time we got seated here, our wine glasses were filled and a waiter was already bringing us a started of toma with fondue. That was followed by another starter and more wine. We managed to save room for a main and dessert. You can never eat too much chocolate mousse in Italy.... More

I was rather disappointed with this place. Many items on the menu were not available. The steak was good but nothing to write home about

It is a very well decorated restaurant with outdoor sitting and great quality food. The only thing that I didn't care for was the attitude of the waiters and waitresses there. There are very much in rush and not so patient and polite with customers.

All the tastes of Piedmont but in Milan. Meat comes from the Carrù area, the famous Fassone and Sanato, wines from the Alba area, Dolcetto, Barolo, Barbaresco, Nebbiolo. The sommelier is professional as the waiters. It is not the fancy luxury place but it has a small garden and the atmosphere of an old reliable Trattoria. They have been around... More

Great food from Piemonte, we got a full dinner for the celebration of the graduation of my brother. Appetizers were varied, two pastas, main and dessert. The place is also friendly with a historical touch. Recommended!

Looking at this place from the outside, one would perhaps give this place a miss. However the inside is a beautifully decorated restaurant, in the Piedmont style with wonderful ceilings and matching decor. My host (a local) told me that this place specialized in local meat and to try the Cotoletta. He was right, it was delicious. In fact all... More

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
