Family-run, great attention to detail, quality and tradition. The risotto alla milanese and ossobuco are the best in town. Friendly service and warm environment, definitely worth coming back to.

My girlfriend and I visited Trattoria Masuelli and had a great evening. The staff were very welcoming and the environment is very traditional and quaint. The star of the show however is the food, which is unbelievably good. I had the Ossobuco with traditional risotto Milanese - it was hands down the best Ossobuco I've ever had. If you want... More

Enjoyed a lot the experience! Difficult to find similar one in Milan! Kind staff! The owner, Mr Masuelli was a delight! Tried my first cassoeula in Milan and my first Bonèt! Very clean restaurant!Tradition has been kept as something sacrosanct! The client is a guest treated with respect, and warmth. I'll return for sure!

We were greeted by the owner on the way in. Our waiter Royce was exceptional. He helped us with the menu and stayed and chatted a bit. He explained the amazing chandeliers. Our meals were excellent. Perfect northern Italian cuisine. We had the angoletti that was amazing. Our veal meals were prepared excellently. Two of us ordered the "plate" meal.... More

We order a asparagus ravioli dish with a Beetroot sauce. A pasta dish arrived. It didn't taste at all of asparagus, and the sauce didn't seem red. It seemed like a meat filled pasta with a ragout sauce of some kind. It was ok, but not what we had ordered. We didn't really mind greatly at that stage, but asked... More

Simply the best risotto alla milanese in the world. Also had a veal dish with even more risotto, stunning. Went on to demolish desserts and then cheeses, all spectacular. Wine list was relatively inexpensive with some really drinkable choices. If you like elevated home cooked style dishes you would be totally mad not to come here, its a recipe for... More

Thanks to my friends from Milan I discovered this genuine Northern Italian food trattoria. Risotto al salto is a must! And cotoletta alla milanese is really delicious. Highly recommended!!

Off the beaten path, but worth the visit. This is Milan cuisine at its best. The cotoletta Milanese (and even better the Milanesine) are amazing, as is the riso giallo…the agnolotti…I could go on.

I visited this trattoria and was very disappointed in the arrogance of the owner during taking our order and while paying the bill. We had to get a waiter to write out the bill a second time as we didn't understand what the owner had written in his fret to do the bill . Food was good service was a... More
