If you want to feel Italian atmosphere and excellent food with great truffle dishes and other northern Italy specialities, this is the place to be. Very good menu card and all dishes are prepared fresh. Wine card very good and prices are very reasonable. Try the Polenta or Ossobucco - excellent. Will come again

This is an authentic restaurant with good Milanese/Italien food. The atmosphere is lively and the service was quick and friendly. We enjoyed it.

Been here with a friend for dinner. Totally full on saturday night, you'll need a reservation - the place is small, not more than 10 tables I would say, all in the same room. The style is a kind of modern shabby-chic, very nice. The room is sound proof (you can speak to your mates without shouting) and there is... More

The place is ok. Good Northern food, ok wine, friendly staff, ok price. Foreigners will like it better than Italians, but all the pieces (making up a reasonable dinner) are there. The thing I liked most was the neon sign on the street. Very simple and classy (actually much better than the interior design). You can find better, you can... More

I just had my dinner there and I love it . I order some salad and tartufo bianco . My advice for you is to reserve a table before you go there and please note there is no parking for the car . Beside that , the Resturante is so così and the atmosphere like home . Good service and... More

Visited this restaurant on our last night in Milan - what a treat! My friend and I split the pasta with black truffles (definitely seemed to be the popular dish in the restaurant with the locals - would recommend - so yummy!) and the speck with polenta. The food was delicious and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The... More

If you want to have a real experience of an Italian restaurant you should try this place. The staff is super friendly and food is just amazing, everything very fresh. Don't forget to try the polenta and the deserts :-) I am not very often excited about a place, but this place really deserve a visit.

As usual, I was one of their first customers of the night. I had been in Italy for a couple of weeks but Milano was my first venture this far north. I was staying close to the Porta Garibaldi train station I was interested in eating some Northern Italian cooking. Osteria Dal Verme fit the bill excellently. I ordered Ossobucco... More

My boyfriend and I happened upon Osteria Dal Verme while exploring the Isola district. The menu posted outside looked promising, though we couldn't exactly tell what most of the entrees were as they were in Italian. We walked into the restaurant around 7:30, and the staff began speaking to us in English (a safe assumption, as all Italians eat much... More

In Milan's trendiest new area, quartiere Isola, there is a very rich offer of restaurants and cafes. I wanted something more exotic, but my friend insisted so we ended up there (it was the 3rd time). To me it belongs to the smart restaurants category: people that have realized that you need to give some quality, that a large menu... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
