We visited this restaurant twice during our 12 days stay in Asti - in fact, we made sure we spent our last evening there as it was our favourite place. The food is simply superb - subtle flavours, perfectly sized portions and dishes that accompany each other perfectly. I cannot recommend the stuffed mini peppers enough as a starter. The... More

This restaurant rocks. Chef Enrico proposed Piedmontese-Ligurian dishes with a twist. Try the steak tartare (with Piedmontese cow meat) and cod (yes meat and fish together!) as a starter or the sirloin steak with shrimp. Great wines too. I drank a beautiful Dacapo traditional method wine (metodo classico) that, in my opinion, goes with everything.

Fantastic Italian food in a great setting. We sat outside in the courtyard surrounded by locals. Wonderful service - our waitress even suggested wine for our dinner (which was delicious!). It's not a touristy restaurant and it is also very reasonably priced.

Great food, amazing service and very region cuisine. The wines are well selected local and quite diverse. Lots of unusual grape varieties featured. The food was just outstanding and daring while still satisfying and substantial. Highly recommended and the staff spoke excellent English too.

This was our first visit to the Osteria. There are three small rooms with tables so it can be a little noisy. We were quite pleased with the quality of the offering today. It was a fixed menu with two antipasti, a primo, a secondo and dessert. Also included was a glass of sparkling wine that was served with an... More

The best place in my opinion for food in Asti. A must visit. The beef cheek in wine is to die for. WOW. Service great and if you have room ask for the wheel of cheese!

We stayed at the Rotarius B&B across the street and were told if we wanted very good food and a chill, low-key atmosphere that we should go to Osteria del Diavolo. We made a 7:45 reservation and were the first to arrive for dinner (it was a Tuesday). That made me a bit nervous but my mind was soon changed... More

Walk in the conveniently located restaurant and you feel very welcome. The wine selection is small, but excellent. Most importantly, the food was creatively prepared and delicious from the beginning to the end. Cheeses are varied and not to be missed.
