Bought small cone and asked for one flavour out of 2 and just shoved 2 scoops of same flavour. I asked kindly sorry but could I have 2 scoops of 2 flavours instead of 1. She slammed the doors of the fridge and started fuming....If you don’t want to work just Quit the job, Don’t ruin the image of that Gelateria. I wish I could give 0 stars. Staff clearly don’t like this job and hates every customer. That gelato certainly tasted full of hatred and anger to me. I feel sorry for the Owner.Never again.More

We stayed a week on Lake Orta, a ferry ride from Orta San Giulio, which we visited twice. Both times I had Gelato here; wouldn't have come back if it weren't of the best quailty and flavor. Really excellent Gelato in a really beautiful town...on a most beautiful lake!!More

OMG what a find! After 3 days in Milan centre and not finding a decent dairy-free ice cream, we stumbled across this place on a visit to Lake Orta. Oh wow I was in absolute heaven when the lady actually gave me a CHOICE of...5 or 6 dairy-free options AND a gluten-free cone. There were rice milk ice creams too if you can't tolerate soya. I cannot begin to explain how sublime the ice cream was, but I have to say it is the best I've experienced in Europe alongside a vegan gelaterie in Corfu town. Vegans and dairy-free folk - please patronise this shop as we need to keep showing a need for dairy-free ice cream! And to eat it in the prettiest square overlooking the lake was a double win in my books!More

Our hosts advised that this was the best gelato in town. We tried a few others and ended up agreeing with our hosts. Creamy, fresh, and friendly service. Gluten free cones at no extra cost with care given to avoid contamination, grazie!

I tried every ice-cream parlor in Orta San Gulio and think this beats them all. Beautifully hand made ice-cream like I have never tasted before.

This ice cream shop is just incredible, they have a lot of prizes and a big amount of flavours. They have also gluten-free options what is good for gluten intolerants. I truly recommend you to try it, concretely the flavours: Nocciola (Hazelnut), pistacho (Pistachio) and...Fragola(Strawberry) they are just amazing.More

After walking around on a hot sunny day we decided to treat ourselves to some ice cream. Our biggest problem was deciding which flavor to choose. I ended up choosing the chocolate which was great and my husband had something fruity. Excellent choice

We tried because of Tripadvisor's recommendation and it is truly recommended indeed :) Big portions, amazing delecious flavours - you cannot wish more. Medium cup (3 flavours) costs 3 EURs.

Went here as we came off one of the water taxis, walked across the piazza and treated the family to Gelato. During this Italy holiday we've had gelato every evening. The presentation in the freezer window is by far the fanciest and very enticing. The...portions were very generous (had to ask for a smaller portion for my 5 yr old which they did accommodate). The gelato though was very average. There is better tasting down the side streets. Not to say this was bad, but rather just average.More

We stopped here on a Sunday afternoon following lunch and a trip to the island. Super friendly and the 5 flavours we had between the two of us were very good, the banana and chocolate in particular. The chocolate fondant was very sillky and glossy...and almost too rich, words I never thought I'd say about ice cream, but I got through it. Brief visit but very impressed and better value than many gelato venues in the area.More

We have tried most of the Gelaterias in Orta San Guilio, this is #2 for us (#1 is AGRI GELATERIA, outside the center of the old town). The flavors are all natural and according to the lady serving us the ice-cream there, no artificial flavors...are added! The kids loved the ice-cream, especially Dark Chocolate and Coconut!!! The location only one minute from the main square is fantastic!More

We stayed in Orta for 9 nights and ate gelato from here each day, and usually twice per day! It's that delicious. Every flavour we tried was wonderful. Lovely texture of the gelato. Our favourite place.
