When you go to a Michelin star restaurant, you have high expectations. During our dinner those expectations were not met. The dinner (taste of the food, plating, service) was ok, but definitely not at the level of a Michelin star. We were in 12. At the end of the main course we complained about the tastelessness of the food (we... More

A classical restaurant: red wallpaper, tall ceiling and classical music. The host and the waiters were very kind and welcoming, they interacted with us and gave us a really good experience. For the starter, I got a risotto with white truffles. We came for the truffles and we got just that. Thy were fresh and smelled great, the risotto itself... More

When we go to a Michelin starred restaurant we expect a stunning experience, particularly with regards to the food. While we know Michelin gets all hung up on ambience, plates, flowers and whatnot- we go for the food. Many people have commented on the decor here. It was fine, attractive in a sort of over the top, red-flocked wallpaper, operatic... More

It is a very classical-style restaurant, with some "retro" accents in the decor, the music and the particular attention to some details. Food is very high-quality, but in general not particularly creative. This, as said, mirrors the interior which is quite elegant, but in a very classical and traditional fashion. I strongly recommend the cotoletta à la Piémontaise (with grissini... More

We had had an excellent meal here a few years ago but standards seem to have declined since. That the restaurant was only a third full, and those who were there were tourists rather than locals, was quite telling. The food was OK - in fact quite nice - but certainly not starred quality and the service from the young... More

It was recommended by the concierge of the hotel. Although the environment is nice the quality of the food especially the meat was bad and at the same time expensive. The service was very poor and when we complained the answer from the maitre was that they had too many people and therefore it is not their fault. An expensive bottle of... Sat down at a table for one and my second Michelin star experience this week The room is elegant and the staff friendly The bread is good and the olive oil is medium strength. The special hard bread with embedded vegetables is excellent The salted creamy starter was amazing The veal stuffed with Tina was amazing and the thistles in... More

We came there in case of a recommandation. The restaurant is nice and very lovely furnished and the personal is very helpful and is looking fore the guests. We expected more typical italien stuff but found something nice to eat. Nexttime we will stay in a more local restaurant with italien food.

We went to Vintage 1997 because we wanted truffles and because it has 1 Michelin star. All 3 of us do not mind paying for great food and a great experience and had eaten at a similar restaurant the night before. The atmosphere at vintage 1997 was stuffy - waiters unsmiling, no music, murmured conversation. The walls are covered with... More
