The Piccolo Lord is, in my humble opinion, a notch well above other restaurants of its kind, and has become our favourite restaurant over the years. It serves Italian haute cuisine, informed particularly by local influences and ingredients revisited with creativity, at much more affordable prices than any local competitor (not to mention comparable restaurants in other European cities). From... More

We dined at Piccolo Lord tonight (a Wednesday evening in March). The restaurant is really lovely and feels fresh and romantic. The service was incredibly warm and helpful. We chose the degustazione ("The Long Road" which includes 8 courses and homemade breads, and a prosecco aperitif). Every course was good, but the veal, the ravioli, and the chocolate mousse were... Food was great. Service was slow in the beginning, but improved gradually. Most of the dishes we tried( there were 6 of us) were very good to excellent.

Decided to come here after reading the superb reviews and treat ourselves to a great meal. From the moment you walk in you are looked after by the excellent staff and we were given a glass of Prosecco and some small nibbles on the house (which were superb). To start we shared the squid and potato which was sublime. The... More

I visited this restaurant twice: in both cases for a business group dinner. This time we had a predefined set menu wich included: appetizer (Raw meat with parmigiano cheese foam and caramelized balsamic vinegar), main (risotto with Castelmagno cheese and sausage from Bra), meat & side (pork tenderloin with saffron coffee cream and potatoes), dessert (a wonderful "gianduiotto" with rhum)... Arriving in Turin on a wet, dark November night after a nine hour drive may not be the best start to a birthday celebration but this restaurant made all that a distant memory. Delicious little homemade stuzzica appetito brought with a glass of Prosecco to get you in the mood and a truly imaginative, varied and distinctive Piemonte menu -... More

We stumbled on this restaurant by chance last night, and we had one of the nicest culinary experiences we've ever had in Italy. The food was incredible. They started us off on a few tiny savoury pastries, followed by the most amazing minibreads (focaccia, parmesan bread, and olive bread) and a tiny arancino flavoured with bell pepper. Then we shared... More

Piccolo Lord is one of the few restaurants in Turin to be open on a Sunday. It manages to be smart, clean and welcoming without being too formal. The antipasti, primi, secondi and dolci were outstanding and the matching wines (a Vermentino, a Kerner and a Barolo) were spot on. The on-the-house welcoming Prosecco and 'amuse bouche' were a treat... More

This region abounds with exceptional Michelin starred restaurants. This isnt one of them but is still superb - an interesting high quality "menu" on New Years Eve with great skill shown by the kitchen. This together with a warm & friendly manner a very full on service evening where they showed great skill in bringing every table to be ready... More
