I'm ashamed at the poor standard of my Italian, so a greeting by the owner apologising for her poor English immediately put us at ease. The chef/proprietor then proceeded to tempt us with highlights from his very personal menu, the choice was dazzling. We whittled it down to an excellent homemade taglietelle with lemon, mint and lobster, followed by veal... More

Food was delightful. Really interesting. And service is very friendly. As my 10 year old son said, all together, it was a hair raising experience because the choice of food was good an example was veal that was 30h cooked. I recommend this for anybody in this region.

Lots of efforts around Italian dishes with a modern touch. Even the bread, oil, vinegar and different varieties of salt are surprising. Original antipasti. Tasty primi. Try the gnocchi for example.

This was the perfect dining experience. Wonderful food, wine, and atmosphere. Our hosts, a husband wife and daughter team, provided a delightful experience. The salmon was the best in memory. The risotto...perfect. My wife's pulpo and mussels were exceptional. We especially enjoyed the sommelier (the wife). Her presentation of our wine choices was done with care to present each wine... In its really cosy atmosfear, you can enjoy some creative and delicious food. The difficulty is in the choice! Qualitative ingredients cooked by a great chef, the decor is really nice. A restaurant where we always go in Aoste! Do not forget to book (also possible via Facebook)...

We were just wondering around the historical city center of Aosta when we found this restaurant, a little gem partially hidden from the main street. We were friendly welcomed by the owner and his wife and in spite of the fact we were a bit early respect to the lunch time, they gave us to seat and started presenting the... More

We watched the reviews on Tripadvisor and descided to go to Giuliani's ristorante. We emailed at 16 and got a reply within 10 minutes with a confirmation of our booking that night. The restaurant is in a beautifully converted, calm and stylish cellar. We were welcomed by the very friendly wife of chef Giuliani. First we got a nice 'amuse'... More

Expectation was set as This would be nr 2-3 in aosta. We eat 2x a Month in similar restaurants at our place so wanted to give it a go. We liked that the chef walked around frequently (so not just after the dinner) giving info and asking for feedback. The wines were good, just the wine-spice combination could have been... More

We stumbled upon this place, noticed its difference from the usual tourist places and decided to treat ourselves and kids (11 and 14). Lovely ambience in a revamped cellar space. Wonderful meal, thoughtful combinations, skilfully prepared. Particularly liked the pasta dishes we tried. Service was top notch with just two wait staff and the place was full!

We came here for dinner with my wife sunday night. Already from the warmwelcome of the owner couple we felt like at home! The place is simple but elegant and clean. Outside was very hot but inside because of the bulding it was cool and relaxing temperature. We chose from a la carte and had an amazing dinner. We have... More
