The waitress was a little aggressive; we asked the set menu to see the alternatives: she said she did not have it written (but it was at the entrance!) and told us by heart. Food was average. I would search for a different place.

When we ate at Al Fagiano there what looked like were parties of pilgrims filling most of the tables, but the service was nonetheless excellent, and the waiter couldn't have been more helpful. I tried the frito misto al mare which was good, and all 4 of us enjoyed what we ordered.

We were looking for a quiet place for dinner late and night and found this restaurant. Service was attentive and helpful. We were directed to try some local beers adn were really pleased with the selection. The truffle sausage pasta was delicious and a shared plate of prosciutto and melon was a great start. Well worth a visit.

We ate pastas there. They were very average quality. Not very good but not bad (so that you should complain). But maybe I would try something else…after the great cuisine / cucina of Umbria and Liguria Padova was not a "granché" like Italians say, not a big thing :-)

I don't like to go to the hotel's restaurant. I always have the feeling that is going to be overpriced and the food, rubbish, and that only lazy people go there. We arrived late in Padua from Venice, and it was our only choice really. I saw the menu from outside and got very surprised. I had soft polenta with... More
